Republished: In All Your Doing

May this bless you, as it did me in re-reading it today, celebrating God’s great mercy to me, as He has repeatedly led me to lay down and rest and watch Him move in me and in others, as all I have done is lay at His feet to listen and pray through His Word to me, to then get up to walk through the shadow of death holding His hand.

In All Your Doing

The Bread breaks
One by one
We gather
Your sheep
The fold
Of Your pasture.

We come
The hungry
And the thirsty
Not knowing
We hunger
And thirst

In Psalm 23

You PREPARE a table
Before us
You ANOINT our head
With oil
Your goodness and mercy
All the days of our lives.

All we do is:
The valley of the
Shadow of death to
DWELL in Your house
And in all
YOUR doing FOR us
We shall

“And I am beginning to see that it is out of a low place that one can best believe.”

Lilias Trotter as quoted in A Passion for the Impossible by Miriam Huffman Rockness, p.159

“Behold, I send my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me. And the Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to his temple; and the messenger of the covenant in whom you delight, behold, he is coming, says the Lord of hosts.

Malachi 3:1 (ESV)

You are a hiding place for me;

    you preserve me from trouble;

    you surround me with shouts of deliverance. Selah

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;

    I will counsel you with my eye upon you.

Psalm 32:7-8 (ESV)
